Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli is set to secure a permanent move away from Anfield this summer.
The controversial Italian forward failed to make his mark at Merseyside since joining the Reds under Brendan Rodgers. The player was then loaned out to AC Milan, where he struggled to make an impact as well.
Earlier this season he confirmed that he is looking to leave Liverpool permanently and Spanish outlet Fichajes are claiming that Espanyol are ready to offer him an exit route.
The report states that Espanyol will actively pursue him this summer and that he might be keen to move to Barcelona.
Fichajes also add that Jurgen Klopp is desperate to offload the £16million rated striker this summer and wants to get his high wages off the club’s books.
The Italian striker is also a target for Monaco and Inter Milan.
It will be interesting to see Liverpool’s asking price for the out-of-favour Italian when his suitors come calling. It is evident that they want to get rid of him and in that case, they might be forced to accept a huge loss on the price they paid for him back in 2014.
