Arsenal move five points clear at the top of the Barclays Premier League table after defeating Liverpool 2-0 at the Emirates on Saturday.

The Gunners returned back strongly after they suffered a 2-0 defeat and exit from the Capital One Cup in the midweek. They showed enough quality and resilience to maintain their juggernaut and stretch at the advantage as well, after Chelsea lost 2-0 early in the day against Newcastle United at St James’ Park.

Santi Cazorla and Aaron Ramsey scored two wonderful goals while Mikel Arteta produced a terrific performance in the middle of the park, as the Gunners came out victorious against an in-form Liverpool side.

Naturally, the entire Emirates Stadium was buzzing with uproarious jollity while Arsenal players couldn’t resist their excitement and shared their feelings on Twitter.

German Star Mesut Ozil and Goal scorer Santi Cazorla shared their joy as well. Cazorla opened the scoring for the Gunners, and Ozil was involved in some scintillating Arsenal’s attacking moves.
