Konstantinos Mitroglou can’t stop scoring at the moment. He is one of the in-form strikers in Europe at the moment and last night scored yet another crucial goal as Greece reached the World Cup finals by beating Romania.
The Olympiakos striker is already attracting attentions for his terrific goal scoring exploits and has already scored 20 goals in the season for both club and country.
Greece earned a 4-2 aggregate victory over Romania. In the first leg, Mitroglou scored twice as Greece earned a 3-1 victory while he struck again last night in their 1-1 draw.
He has netted four hat-tricks already for Olympiakos this season and it has been reported that Arsenal and Liverpool are interesting in singing him in January. The 25-year-old would cost in the region of £7m while host of European clubs like Borussia Dortmund, Inter Milan and Benfica are keenly interested in securing his signature.
Arsenal badly need a striker in the January transfer window to ease off the burden from the shoulders of Olivier Giroud. Liverpool have Daniel Sturridge and Luis Suarez firing all cylinders but Brendan Rodgers might be looking to add another goal scoring machine to bolster his attacking squad. Both Arsenal and Liverpool have started the season brilliantly and are occupying the first and second position in the Premier League respectively.
