According to reports in the trusted and reliable TMW website from Italy, Inter Milan are plotting a surprise move for Lazio youngster Keita Balde Diao who is also a Liverpool and arsenal target. TMW have cited Il Tempo saying that Inter are desperate to add attacking options to their squad as they look to finish the second half of the Serie A season on a high.
It is believed that Inter manager Roberto Mancini has also lined up Ezequiel Lavezzi of PSG and Arsenal’s Lukas Podolski as their prime targets for the winter transfer window. Mancini is also an admirer of Keita and would like to bring him at San Siro in January.
The 19 year old Spanish striker is a youth product of Barcelona’s famed La Masia academy had attracted the a host of European clubs throughout the summer. We had earlier reported that Lazio had rejected a €20m offer from Liverpool to keep the youngster in their ranks.
Keita had joined Lazio in 2011 for a fee of just €300,000 and quickly moved up the youth ranks of the clubs and is believed to be valued at €30m. However it doesn’t appear that Keita will leave Lazio in January and that too for a club who are a direct competitor for the final Champions League spot.
