Manchester United have failed to re-sign Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba, who has set his heart on joining Real Madrid, according to reports from The Mirror.
The 21-year-old joined Juventus in 2012 and has blossomed into one of the top midfield talents in world football.
Manchester United were thought to be keen to re-sign the player, with reports emerging in the January transfer window that David Moyes had been present at several Juventus games.
The Mirror report claims Manchester United are ready to offer over £35m for Pogba, but the midfielder is said to fancy a move to Real Madrid; and we all know, when Madrid enter the race, they mean business.
Los Blancos legend Zinedine Zidane, who is now the club’s sporting director and assistant head coach, has showed a keen interest in luring midfielder to the Bernabeu.
Pogba left Old Trafford after accusing Sir Alex Ferguson of failing to give him enough game time.
Reports have also emerged that claim French giants Paris Saint Germain are also interested in him and have made Pogba their priority target this summer.
