Newcastle United were held to a 1-1 draw against Wolves last night.

Isaac Hayden managed to put the away side ahead on the 56th minute but the hosts scored late on in the game to rescue a point.

Rafa Benitez will be gutted to have dropped two points right at the end. Willy Boly scored for Wolves on the 95th minute.

Midfielder Sean Longstaff put in yet another accomplished display for Newcastle United. The youngster has been exceptional ever since he has broken into the first team scene.

Newcastle legend Alan Shearer was blown away with the midfielder’s performance last night and he took to Twitter to share his thoughts on Longstaff’s performance.

His tweet read:

Longstaff will be delighted with the praise from someone like Shearer and he will be determined to continue his development and finish the season strongly.

If he keeps up his improvement, Longstaff could be a real asset for the Magpies in future. He has already managed to establish himself as a starter and he is only going to get better with time and experience.
