Andrew has four stats-based selections at Lingfield, Uttoxeter and Wetherby on Saturday November 13th:
UTTOXETER 12.22
MOOT COURT (system – Fergal O’Brien, hurdlers on second run after a wind operation)
MOOT COURT returned from wind surgery to finish a respectable third at Chepstow on last month’s reappearance and can get off the mark now that he switches to hurdles. In-form Fergal O’Brien is five from 23 with hurdlers on their second start following wind surgery, for a profit of £20.83 to a £1 level stake at SP.

LINGFIELD 1.55
BRIDGETOWN (system – Mayson all-weather runners in first-time cheekpieces)
Progeny of the sire Mayson do well in first-time cheekpieces on the all-weather, winning nine of their 39 starts for a profit of £48.25 to a £1 level stake at SP. In races over 5f-7f only that improves to eight from 24 (+£56.25). If we knock out the Tapeta runs it improves again to eight from 14 (+£66.25). Three of the six beaten horses were placed at big prices (40-1, 16-1 and 12-1) and BRIDGETOWN might be able to upset the short-priced favourite in this 6f auction maiden.

WETHERBY 2.35
LAKOTA WARRIOR (system – second run after a wind operation, Class 1 or 2 hurdles, unplaced LTO, recent run)
Hurdlers often improve on their second start following wind surgery, as they need that first run back to get used to being able to breath comfortably at the business end of a race again. Since wind operations had to be declared (January 2018) we’ve seen plenty of big-priced winners in the better hurdle races (Class 1 or 2) who were unplaced last time out on their first run following surgery. Had we backed them all at the second time of asking, providing they’d raced within the past 28 days, we’d have won 11 of our 41 bets and made a profit of £77.25. LAKOTA WARRIOR, a 6-1 eighth of 12 on his reappearance following a wind op at Aintree last month, can bounce back in this Class 2 Introductory Hurdle.

ANYTHINGFORLOVE (system – Jamie Snowden young handicap chasers)
In-form Jamie Snowden has a solid record with his young handicap chasers (aged six or younger) and had we backed them all since 2014 we’d have won 29 of our 133 bets (21.8% strike-rate) and made a profit of £45.20 to a £1 level stake at SP. ANYTHINGFORLOVE can add to those gains with victory in this mares’ novices’ limited handicap.
