Andrew has been in fine form of late and starts the new week with three recommended bets/trades at Kempton and Wolverhampton:

Horse Racing Betting Tips for Monday November 1st

KEMPTON STARTING PRICES

Kempton’s card looks competitive and it’s not necessarily a day for those at the head of the betting. Last year’s opening 1m Class 6 handicap went to a 16-1 shot and the shortest-priced winner in this race’s history was 8-1. We have two divisions this year and buying STARTING PRICES with SpreadEx (the market is currently set at 57-60) could be the way to go. The fillies’ novice contest (1.35) is harder to see an upset in, though we did have an 8-15 favourite beaten in this race in 2018 and MISS MARBLE might not be bombproof under a penalty for her Chelmsford win. HAMISH is a short price for the 1m4f Listed race (3.05) but this will be his third relatively quick run and he’s not sure to be at his best. OUTBOX could be in receipt of an easy lead and may be able to cause an upset while SHANDOZ is no forlorn hope. Three more wide-open handicaps (2.05, 3.40 and 4.10) also give us a good chance to beat the spread.

Recommendation: Buy STARTING PRICES at Kempton

KEMPTON 4.10

KALEIDOSCOPIC is one of the outsiders that I’ll be rooting for in this 1m3f fillies’ handicap and she could be overpriced at the current 12-1 with SpreadEx. She can also be bought at 7 in the SpreadEx 50-25-10 market. Best at this time of year, her full record in September, October or November reads 171444 (2-6) and she hasn’t had many opportunities on Polytrack.

Recommendation: Back KALEIDOSCOPIC in Kempton 4.10

WOLVERHAMPTON 7.00

BEAU GESTE could be vulnerable from stall 1 and is worth opposing. At the time of writing, he was a well-backed 4-1 second favourite with SpreadEx but the inside berth has been a coffin box in big-field (10+ runner) handicaps over the extended 1m1f trip here in recent years, with just seven winners from 192 runners since the beginning of 2018 for a huge loss of £155.42 to a £1 level stake at SP. The expected number of winners was 16 and he can be sold in the SpreadEx 50-25-10 spread market. Those who wish to back something against him could do far worse than hat-trick seeker OOT MAY WAY, a 4-1 shot in the SpreadEx fixed odds betting.

Recommendation: Oppose BEAU GESTE in Wolverhampton 7.00
