Arsenal 1-0 Wolves
English Premier League
3 April 2010
Arsenal struggled to find goals against Wolves during the entire match but a late header from Nicklas Bendtner would keep their EPL title hopes alive. They had much more possession and chances but Wolverhampton held strong defensively.
Each time Wolves goalkeeper Marcus Hahnemann was tested he answered with several saves to keep it scoreless. It would remain scoreless until stoppage time of the second half.
The goal came in the last few moments of stoppage time as Bendtner scored on a header from a cross to make it 1-0. It was a valiant effort from Wolves played with 10 men for the last 25 or so minutes because of a red card to Henry.
The match would end with that same scoreline and a much needed win for the Gunners.
