Manchester United goal keeper David de Gea grabs all the media attention yet again. The Spain international should have been a Real Madrid player by now, but a fiasco on the transfer deadline day prevented him for joining the Spanish giants.

He stayed at United and now all set to return to the starting XI for his side against Liverpool. But most importantly, he is ready to make a dramatic U-turn and sign a mega deal for the Red Devils. The Times certain the deal is as good as done.

The Daily Mail has covered an Exclusive interview on Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard, who feels the Reds could have kept him. Thibaut Courtois’s injury news also gets a mention; the Belgian goal keeper is likely to remain on the sidelines for a month.

The Sun has their own Exclusive as well. They have interviewed Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo, and goes with the headline “LvG’s got a face like a Bulldog”

De Gea’s contract saga also gets a big mention on the back page of Daily Express. They have given a sensational spin to Wenger’s comments on not signing a striker this summer, with the headline “Great strikers don’t just drop out of the sky”.
