Barcelona take on Sporting Gijon in La Liga this weekend and the Catalan giants will be desperate to increase their lead at the top of the table with a win here.

The Spanish champions ended their horrendous winless run of three competitive games with a staggering 8-0 win over Deportivo. Star striker Luis Suarez scored four goals and assisted three more as the Catalan giants demolished Deportivo away from home.

Barcelona were beaten by Valencia in their last home game and Luis Enrique’s side will look to make amends against Sporting.

Sporting will be high on confidence, after defeating Sevilla 2-1 at El Molinon last time out and will look to pull off an upset here.
