What next for Angel di Maria Manchester United’s record signing’s future has been plunged further into uncertainty after reports emerged that Louis van Gaal berated him in the dressing room for his below-par performance at Anfield, according to the Manchester United Evening News. 

The 26-year-old is already facing an uncertain future after struggling to find his form as also to adopt life in England. 

Di Maria, who reportedly earns £280,000-a-week at Old Trafford, is keen to leave with PSG monitoring his situation. 

Duncan Castles yesterday wrote for Goal.com that Di Maria is frustrated with Van Gaal’s system at Old Trafford, though in all probability United won’t sell him mainly due to financial reasons. 

The Argentine world cup star moved from Real Madrid to Manchester United for a British record transfer fee last summer and has scored three goals so far. 

Di Maria was below-par at Anfield, but he was also instrumental in providing two clear-cut chances – one to Mata leading to goal and another that led Can to foul on Blind resulting in a penalty.
