Liverpool have informed Chelsea they are interested in Hazard, according to reports in Belgium. Not Eden, but his brother Thorgan.
Scouts of Liverpool watched Thorgan Hazard against Lokeren, last weekend according to the very reliable Kristof Terreur of HLN. Interestingly, Jose Mourinho and his assistant Rui Faria made a trip to Belgium last night to watch Thorgan play against Anderlecht in a Championship play-off match and if reports are to believed he has no intentions to include him in his first team plans next season.
Thorgan has spent the last two seasons on loan at Zulte Waregem, scoring 19 goals in 85 appearances. Cheslea haven’t decided yet whether they want to loan him or sell him permanently, with Liverpool and Schalke both looking for a permanent deal for the 21 year old. If Chelsea decide to loan him out again, Everton might be interested, according to reports in English media.
Chelsea have a lot of players returning from loan and it remains to be seen who gets a chance in the first team squad. Thorgan might be interested in another loan deal as he understand its a big step from the Belgian League to the Premier League.

Thorgan is on the standby list for the national team squad for the upcoming World Cup in Brazil, he also won the Belgium’s Golden Shoe as the top player in the Pro League for 2013 and despite his brilliant form it will be very difficult for him to make it to the Chelsea squad. Brendan Rodgers might be interested to sign the talented youngster as he prepares to offload almost 15 players in the summer.
