Arsenal’s 2-0 defeat to Napoli saw them qualify from Group F in second place, with the Gunners now facing a daunting last-16 tie against one of Europe’s most dangerous teams.
Indeed, the sheer scale of the task ahead proved to be too much for Arsenal legend Thierry Henry.
Speaking in his capacity as Sky Sports pundit, the striker couldn’t fathom a way in which drawing any of the five potential opponents could be seen as ‘favourable’ for the Gunners.

With PSG, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, and Bayern Munich to choose from; Henry was left flabbergasted, and obviously concerned for his former side’s future well-being in the competition.
When tentatively asked whether high-flying Atletico Madrid would be a fair draw, Henry replied, “They would be the team I would not like to play!”
The 36-year-old Frenchman insisted that if Arsene Wenger’s side are to progress through a competition of such prestige, then sooner or later they will have to come up against some of the best teams in world football.
True enough, Thierry; but I’m sure Arsenal fans everywhere share your same speechlessness in the face of such a star-studded lineup in the Gunners’ path.
