Real Madrid have been linked with the Chelsea superstar Eden Hazard over the last few months.
Zinedine Zidane is an admirer of the Belgian’s talent and it seemed like Los Blancos would make a move for Hazard this summer.
However, it seems that there has been a change of plan. Real Madrid are now ready to end their pursuit of Eden Hazard as they are completely focused on Paul Pogba.
The Juventus midfielder is expected to cost them a lot of money and therefore Real Madrid will postpone their move for the Chelsea star this summer.
Reports in Spain (via SportWitness) are claiming that Hazard has four years left on his current deal and will not come cheap, plus with Ronaldo and Bale already at the club, a winger is not a priority for the European champions.
The news will come as a major boost for Chelsea and Antonio Conte, who will be able to hold on to the club’s best player for another season atleast.
However, Real Madrid’s determination to land Pogba will be a blow for the Manchester clubs. Both City and United are interested in the French midfielder.
