Phil Hay of The Athletic has picked Stuart Dallas as the player of the Year for Leeds United.
Kalvin Phillips has been outstanding once again, but he has been head and shoulders above others in his position for the past two seasons. Several Premier League clubs have shown interest in signing him which shows how good he has been.
Dallas, on the other hand, has established himself as Marcelo Bielsa’s utility player.
The 29-year-old has played at right-back, left-back, defensive midfield, No 8 and very briefly at centre-back, and has done exceedingly well. Hay notes that Bielsa has found a place for him religiously whichever line-up he is naming.
He is a versatile player and Dallas has shown himself to be highly adaptable in every situation.
Many Leeds United fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to express their admiration for Dallas. Here are some of the selected tweets:
Agree. Left back, right back, midfield, out wide, goals, assist and clean sheets. He’s been class.

Finally, so many polls on Twitter and Dallas left out of most. A clear winner, an undeniable choice when a level head is applied with logic.

Me too Phil, he’s been immense!
It’s also still fresh in my memory how he kept his head and continued fighting in our 2nd leg playoff game against Derby.
