The 2011 Champions League ticket prices caused an uproar amongst football fans but consider this – the casual fan is unlikely to get a ticket through either club (even regular club supporters found it very difficult given the criteria for application) and with a major chunk of the tickets being given to UEFA sponsors and delegates (and partners to ‘resell’ as part of travel packages), the common fan is left with two options:
Either watch the 2011 Champions League Final at home (on TV or through a live blog) or buy a ridiculously expensive ticket for Wembley.
