Italy national team manager Antonio Conte is expected to take over at Chelsea at the end of this season.
According to several reports over the last few weeks, the former Juventus manager has agreed to a deal with the Premier League giants and will be the long-term replacement for Jose Mourinho.
Interim manager Guus Hiddink will vacate his position this summer.
Italian newspaper Corriere Dello Sport (via SportWitness) reported yesterday that the current Italy manager met with a few Chelsea stars during the Italy vs Spain friendly in Udine.
It is understood that Conte had the chance to meet Azpilicueta, Fabregas and Pedro. Injured striker Diego Costa was not called up for the game.
The Italian will also get a chance to meet with the likes of Courtois and Hazard when Italy face Belgium.
Conte is out of contract after the Euros this summer and has already informed the Italian footballing federation that he will join Chelsea this summer.
The move has also been confirmed by the likes of Capello and Juventus executive Marotta.
Conte is expected to earn around 6 million pounds per season.
