Celta Vigo midfielder Okay Yokuslu is a player in demand this summer.
According to Eldesmarque, multiple clubs are interested in signing the Turkish star who was on loan at West Bromwich Albion this past season.
The 27-year-old made quite an impression in the Premier League, and the Baggies, Leeds United and Crystal Palace are interested in signing him permanently.
SL View: Ideal back-up for Kalvin Phillips
Marcelo Bielsa could definitely use some depth in defensive midfield, and Yokuslu would be an ideal back-up for Kalvin Phillips.
Phillips has been outstanding over the last couple of seasons, but there is no specialist alternative to him and Leeds have suffered in his absence.
Yokuslu has a contract with the Spanish club until 2023, and Celta will have to come up with a reasonable asking price if they want him gone this summer.
A transfer to Leeds could be an attractive proposition for the player. He would get to play in the Premier League under the management of a top-class coach like Bielsa.
It is evident that he is unwanted at Celta, and moving on is the best option.
Although he might not be a regular starter at Elland Road, Bielsa’s system is physically demanding, and he could get ample game time through rotation.
