Manchester City are close to signing Wilfried Bony from Swansea, which might open the door for Stevan Jovetic to ply elsewhere. Serie A giants Juventus have shown interest in him, but City are unlikely to sell him in January.

Recently, Jovetic was in London, where he didn’t have to pay the bills for his dinner, but the waiter, who is thought to be a Liverpool fan, left a funny note for him.

The waiter didn’t charge from his meal but wrote a message: “never score against Liverpool plz” on his bill. 

Jovetic scored a brace against Liverpool at the Etihad earlier this season, let’s hope he doesn’t repeat the same in the reverse fixture!
