With every passing day, it is becoming clear that Barcelona and former Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas has little future with the Catalan club. In fact, no future at all. The Spaniard said to be willing to move elsewhere, preferably to the Premier League, with Barcelona happy to do business for around £30m.
All sorts of reports are circulating in the media. Latest is: Manchester City are not interested in signing him, while same goes for Arsenal as well.
Liverpool have been linked with a move for Fabregas. The Times reporter Tony Barrett says, the Reds were made aware of the the Spaniard, who has been made available in the transfer market.
Manager Brendan Rodgers is said to be an admirer of the former Arsenal midfield player, but he has not shown any interest in signing him. Rather, Rodgers would be willing to sign Barcelona winger Alexis Sanchez, who scored a terrific goal on the the final day of the La Liga season against Atletico Madrid.
A few days ago, Italian radio station, Sport Mediaset reported that Liverpool are preparing a formal bid for the winger, who is valued at €25m. Juventus are also keen to land him, but are only willing to spend €18m for the Chilean.
