Liverpool have offered €20m plus talented youngster Suso to land Sevilla’s highly rated left-back Alberto Moreno.
Real Madrid and Chelsea are also interested in the signing the 21-year-old. Last month we reported that Chelsea had lodged a 15m bid for Moreno, who has a release clause of £25m.
Manchester United had also shown an interest in signing him but it seems like they have shifted their attention to Luke Shaw instead.
Earlier this month, Marca reported that Moreno prefers to join Real Madrid as he wants to be reunited with close pals Sergio Ramos and Fabio Coentrao.
Liverpool are in desperate need of signing a left-back, and although young Jon Flanagan impressed last season at left back, it seems like Brendan Rodgers wants a top quality defender to fill that area.
Spanish newspaper Marca now reports Liverpool have offered €20m plus Suso to Sevilla, albeit on a loan move to secure the services of Moreno.
The situation is interesting. Chelsea have other targets like Filipe Luis of Atletico Madrid and should they go for him, it will open the door for Liverpool to make incursions in the transfer market for Moreno.
Also, it remains to be seen, whether Real Madrid comes up with a better offer for him or not. We have an interesting saga on our hands!
