Liverpool have turned their attention to Atalanta goal keeper Marco Sportiello. 

The Reds have been linked with a move for Fiorentina’s Norberto Neto for some time now, but it seems the interest in the keep has died down. 

Sportiello has been one of the top performers in the Serie A and will be out of contract in July. 

Liverpool goal keeper Simon Mignolet has rediscovered his form, but Rodgers may still sign a top goal keeper in order to provide a competition in the side. 

Sky Italia, via Football Italia, reports that Liverpool are keeping track of the 22-year-old goal keeper with an eye to signing him next season.

Philippe Coutinho earns a deserved call-up to the Brazil squad for the upcoming friendlies. 

The 22-year-old has played a pivotal role for Liverpool, as the Reds are knocking at the doors of qualifying for the Champions League next season. 

Coutinho has just five caps to his name, majority have come as substitute, but with the form he is in, it won’t be too long before he makes his presence felt for the Selecao as well.
