Manchester City star Fernandinho has claimed that Diego Costa always tried to be offensive towards his opponents.
The Chelsea star has developed a bit of a reputation for being a troublemaker on the pitch and it was no different on Sunday as Costa got into a spat with Fernandinho, after the defensive midfielder accidentally elbowed Costa in the head.

Fernandinho was warned by the officials and booked, however, the Brazilian claims that it was an accident and he was shocked.
Speaking about Costa’s reaction, Fernandinho hinted that it was no surprise and that the player has a reputation of being offensive.
“He is always trying to offend the opposition, but I keep calm and keep playing,” Fernandinho said.
“I just didn’t want to fight or have any confrontation and just to play for my team.
“It was an accident and the nature of the game. It was a shock and I received a yellow card.
“It happens in football.”
Diego Costa picked up 10 yellow cards last season and was suspended for his famous stamp on Liverpool’ Emre Can.
Whether the elbow to his head was an accident is open to interpretation. But there is little doubt that Costa is indeed a troublemaker on the pitch.
As good as a player he is, the Brazilian is a nasty character with a fierce desire to win.
