Manchester United have agreed a deal to make Jose Mourinho their new club manager in the summer.
The Chelsea manager has been tipped to be sacked before the end of the season due to his side’s abysmal start to the season and it seems that Mourinho will replace his mentor Louis Van Gaal at Old Trafford.
Louis Van Gaal has previously stated that his job at Manchester United is not a long term planning and he will quit football management soon.
The Dutchman’s contract runs out in 2017 and it makes sense for Manchester United to consider potential replacements already.
Jose Mourinho has always been interested in the Manchester United job and Sir Alex revealed that Mourinho was one of the candidates lined up to replace him but the Portuguese had already agreed to take up the Chelsea job by then.
Italian outlet TuttoMercatoWeb have published an exclusive report that Mourinho and Manchester United have an agreement and the Portuguese will take over in the summer.
Mourinho is a huge fan favourite at Stamford Bridge and the Chelsea fans will be genuinely disappointed with this news.
Furthermore, the report also states that Chelsea will begin discussions with Simeone who is concentrating on Atletico Madrid now and will only discuss his future at the end of the season.
This managerial musical chair sounds very exciting for any Premier League fan. Having the likes of Simeone, Mourinho, Klopp, Wenger, Pellegrini in the same league would be quite fascinating.
