Borussia Moenchengladbach duo Patrick Herrmann and Max Kruse have rejected rumours of a January transfer to Manchester United.
David Moyes is expected to be in attendance for Moenchengladbach’s home game against Bayern Munich this Friday that has led to new transfer rumours as the Red Devils hope to secure top four positions in the Premier League.
According to the Daily Telegraph, United are keeping close tabs on Gladbach’s attacking duo Herrmann and Kruse. However, ESPN reports that both players have rejected rumours of departure from Bundesliga football.
“Manchester I don’t think that’ll be an issue any time soon,” said Kruse, the 23-year-old German international.
We reported this morning about United’s link with Herrmann, who is also a target of Arsenal. The 22-year-old, who made his debut as an 18-year-old has clocked up 113 Bundesliga games for Gladbach. This season he has struck three goals and added five assists to his name.
“It, of course, honours me to be linked to such a club,” Herrmann told Rheinische Post on Tuesday. “But a winter transfer is absolutely no issue for me. I feel fine here at Borussia, we are playing an outstanding season.”
