Manchester United keeper, David De Gea has been offered a sum of 12 million pounds by Real Madrid, to see out his current deal at Old Trafford and leave as a free transfer next summer.
Real Madrid want to save money on De Gea and are keen to sign him for free
Real Madrid are aware that Manchester United are prepared to dig their heels in when it comes to De Gea’s sale this summer and have decided to wait another summer for the Spaniard.
Real Madrid are hoping to save a lot of money on the deal by paying a sign on advance to David De Gea and securing him on a free next summer.
According to the English media, Real Madrid will part with 12 million pounds in order to convince David De Gea to continue at Manchester this season.
Although it is believed that De Gea is keen to return home this summer, a deal might not be possible, especially now that United have lost out on Sergio Ramos.
The De Gea transfer has been a long and drawn out saga so far and both the player and the clubs involved are keen to sort it out soon. It seems Real Madrid’s latest move is the best option for all parties.
Although it would be ridiculous to lose a player like De Gea for free, there is little Manchester United can do here.
