Juventus Director Giuseppe Marotta has claimed that Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal is fully fine and has resumed training with the squad now that his knee is fully functional. Marotta also reaffirmed that the 27 year old Manchester United target is not for sale and there never has been negotiations with the Red Devils for the World Cup star. The 57 year old also mentioned that it is the media which has fabricated a ‘non existent’ transfer link.
The trusted and reputed Gianluca Di Marzio site quoted Marotta saying, “Vidal is fine, he resumed working and the knee is fully functional. He’s at disposal of the team.”
“There have been the usual rumours about him, but he has never been put on the transfer market and there has never been a negotiation. These are the usual commonplaces created by the media that have no real confirmations.”
The latest developments however come as a surprise as Marotta had earlier mentioned that Vidal might be allowed to pursue his career at Old Trafford if he asks for a transfer.
With the transfer window set to slam shut in under a fortnight’s time, it would be interesting on how Manchester United nor go on course of things to sign the player they have been keeping tracks on since the beginning of the summer transfer window.
