The Gunners are thought to be looking for a striker, following the injury to Theo Walcott, who will miss the rest of the season and possibly the World Cup in Brazil.

The North Londoners were linked players like Alvaro Morata, Julian Draxler of Schalke and Juventus striker Giovinco in recent weeks.

We reported today that agent of Giovinco has ruled out any possible move in the winter for his client. And now, Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano says the Gunners had a meeting today with Juventus over a possible loan deal for striker Mirko Vucinic.

The Montenegro international has only made 4 league starts this season, bagging two goals, as he dropped down the pecking orders at the club behind Carlos Tevez and Fernando Llorente.

According to Romano, Juventus have denied the possibility of a loan move for the 30-year-old striker and now Wenger will decide whether to make an offer for a permanent deal.
