Having only secured the loan deal of Brazilian midfielder Anderson a few days ago, Fiorentina are circling Old Trafford once again, looking to snap up want-away defender Nemanja Vidic.
The 32-year-old, who is currently serving a three-match ban for his sending off against Chelsea, is set to leave the club at the end of the season, with TuttoMercatoWeb claiming that Fiorentina are looking to lure him to the Stadio Artemio Franchi this January.

According to ‘TuttoSport’, the Serie A side have had bids rejected for Roma’s Philippe Mexes and Milan’s Cristian Zaccardo, but have not been discouraged in their search for a new centre-back, and have turned their attentions to Manchester United’s Serbian defender.
Vidic’s agent caused a stir earlier in the month after he revealed that a contract extension at Old Trafford was not on the cards for his client,
“At the moment, I would rule out an extension with Manchester United,” his agent Silvano Martina said,
“Vidic, given his contract situation, has several teams looking at him.”
Having been at Manchester United since 2006, the defender’s contract is set to expire at the end of this season.
