Liverpool have unveiled their 2014/15 away kit, with the likes of Steven Gerrard, Daniel Sturridge and PFA Player of the Year Luis Suarez donning the new yellow and red strip for the launch.
Appearing in front of a fast-becoming customary red freighter container, skipper Gerrard fronts a seven-strong list of Anfield stars to show off their new away kit from ‘Warrior.
Mimicking their new home kit, Warrior have incorporated a modern crew neck collar into the classic yellow strip, with the now iconic ’96’ stitching found at the back of the neck to commemorate the tragic Hillsborough disaster of 1989.
Liverpool’s Lucas Leiva commented: “I love the look of this kit, for me the stand out Liverpool away kits were always the yellow ones.’
The bold design features flows of red which follow the natural contours of the body, and Warrior’s signature moisture-wicking ‘War-Tech’ fabric, which together with the latest in ventilation and temperature control technologies puts this kit at the top of the range in terms of aiding performance and maintaining comfort throughout the 90 minutes.
