Valencia owner Peter Lim is not looking to invest random money at the club. The Singapore based businessman is rather looking to invest judiciously and sign players that can help Valencia regain the status of La Liga giants once again.
Therefore, he has shifted his attention towards buying quality young footballers, who can not only improve the first eleven, but will provide any squad strength as well.
According to reports from Valencia local newspaper Superdeporte, Los Che are keen to sign Chelsea’s Thorgan Hazard, the younger brother of Eden Hazard.
Hazard we all know is already a Premier League star. He has been Chelsea’s best player last season and should he continue his development, he could went on to become a modern great as well.
Thorgan, his younger brother is equally talented and has won several individual accolades in the Belgium league. The problem with him is, he is too good for the Belgium league but at the same time can’t get into Chelsea’s first time squad either.
And there lies the big problem. In order to get instant success, Chelsea pump in ridiculous dosh to bring in world class players, but in doing so, neglects young prospects. Valencia have watched him on several occasions and wants to sign him offering him regular first actions.
Chelsea probably won’t be too eager to sell him permanently but a loan move could highly be on the cards here. Earlier we reported that Liverpool have also been monitoring his situations as well and have registered their interest in the 21-year-old Belgian.
