Chelsea left back Ashley Cole couldn’t hold back his tears during the lap of honour as the Blues played out a goalless draw against Norwich City on Sunday afternoon.

An emotional outburst for the 33 year old could well mean that he would walk out of Stamford Bridge with his contract set to expire in the summer. Cole has featured in just 14 starts for Chelsea in the Premier League this season with manager Jose Mourinho preferring Cesar Azpilicueta in the left back slot for a majority in the season.

The left back was clearly pictured being consoled by captain John Terry and hugged by Frank Lampard after the game. Cole has attracted wide interest from Major League Soccer with New York Red Bulls willing to bring the Englishman in their ranks.
