Chelsea have confirmed the signing of Brazilian left back Filipe Luis from Atletico Madrid. The 28 year old La Liga winner and Champions League runner up with the Rojiblancos will wear the number five shirt for the Stamford Bridge outfit.
The defender said it was a dream come true to join the Blues and he is eagerly looking forward to play in the Premier League.
“I’m very happy and looking forward to getting started and giving my best for the team during the coming seasons.”
Meanwhile the London club also confirmed that new striker Diego Costa will wear the number 19 shirt.
