Portugal would play a defensive and conservative match as they earned a scoreless draw against Brazil.

Neither side have a lot of chances but Brazil had more possession. Portugal didn’t play many of their attacking players from the first two matches and had allow Cristiano Ronaldo as the lone forward.

Even a loss would have likely sent Portugal through as they built up a great goal difference with the 7-0 win over North Korea.

With the result, Brazil wins Group G while Portugal finished in second. Portugal is the only team in the group not to concede a goal. Brazil will face the runner-up from Group H while Portugal plays the winner from Group H.
