Rangers youngster Ross McCrorie tweets after positive coronavirus test

Rangers-owned defender Ross McCrorie has announced on Twitter that he has tested positive for coronavirus.

McCrorie, who is on loan at Portsmouth in League One in England at the moment, has added that he has no symptoms of the virus at all.

The 22-year-old, who can operate as a central defender or as a defensive midfielder, has urged everyone to take care of themselves and stay safe.

McCrorie has been at Rangers since 2012, but the Scottish youngster has made just over 40 appearances in the league for the Gers.

The 22-year-old is a very talented and promising young player who is versatile as well, and he does have a bright future at Rangers.

According to WhoScored, the youngster has made 12 starts and five substitute appearances in League One for Portsmouth so far this season, providing three assists in the process.

Football in Scotland is suspended at the moment, and there is no certainly when the season will resume.
