Serie A Champions Juventus are leading the race to land outcast Manchester United winger Luis Nani according toreports in Italy.
The Portuguese international featured in just 11 games under David Moyes and was also missing in the team sheet against Norwich City last weekend, which was Ryan Giggs’ first game in charge for the Red Devils.
The 27 year old had earlier been linked with Europa League finalists Benfica but the Portuguese giants have distanced themselves meaning Juventus are now in pole position to land the United winger.
Portuguese website DN Desporto have gone a step further claiming that the Old Lady already have a pre-agreement with Nani as manager Antonio Conte believes that the United star will play a key role in his effective 3-5-2 setup at Turin.
FIFA agent Federico Pastorello also gave a clear indication regarding the situation speaking to Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.
“Nani to Juventus I will not issue statements on Nani because the situation is delicate.”
Pastorello also spoke on Patrice Evra’s future at Old Trafford. The left back might be on his way in the summer with Monaco being also a likely destination. United are also acting fast to replace their French left back and are willing to shell £30m for Southampton’s Luke Shaw.
“Evra The situation with Patrice is simple, however he is deciding what to do next year, his love for Manchester United is absolute after nine years at the club but soon we will meet and evaluate scenarios”
