Bristol City have today announced the season-long loan of Tottenham Hotspur youngster Steven Caulker.

The 19 year-old defender has been allowed to join the Championship side for the rest of the season which see’s him join fellow parent-team-mate Danny Rose at Ashton Gate.

Caulker, who played in Spurs’ 4-1 defeat to local rivals in the Carling Cup last week, can be called back to White Hart Lane after the first 28-days of the loan if needed. He is now expected to feature in Bristol’s squad for its match against Portsmouth on Tuesday.
