Milan playmaker Ronaldinho believes he is enjoying life more in Italy compared to times at Barcelona as he aims for Scudetto and Champions League glory.
After a shaky first season last year, the Brazilian has seized the opportunity this term and has continued to impress. Slowly, but surely he has been getting back to his best form and he reckons it will help deliver major trophies this season.
“I am having more fun here than when I was at Barcelona,” he told La Gazzetta Dello Sport.
“It’s as if I am 18 again, and I am really having fun with the ball at my feet. This is the best moment of my career.”
Ronaldinho’s framework for success has been further underlined.
“I want to win the Scudetto and Champions League with Milan,” he continued.
“I believe we can win the double and we can catch Inter. I want to help my team-mates and let the fans have fun.”
Milan’s will for the Scudetto will be sorely tested against Juventus on Sunday – a game where the battle for points will be less easily won.
“They are motivated and they come of the back of a win, and so it will be very hard,” he concluded.
