Sir Kenny Dalglish has sent out a message to the Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos.
The 22-year-old recently received a three match ban for his stamp on Scott McKenna and Dalglish believes that the Colombian needs to work on his aggression.
This isn’t the first time Morelos has let his team down this season. He picked up quite a few suspensions earlier.
Steven Gerrard will be disappointed to lose his key star for three games and Morelos must work on his mentality going forward.
The Colombian has been outstanding for Rangers so far but his aggression can undo his good work on the pitch.
Dalglish believes that Morelos needs to mature and impose some self-control. He also warned that the striker cannot make himself a complete liability.
The former Liverpool player wrote in Sunday Post: “Morelos has plenty of talent but he has to control his petulance. He can’t allow himself to become a complete liability. The Colombian needs to show more maturity and self-control.”
The fans will be hoping for better conduct from their key star going forward.
The 22-year-old is a phenomenal talent but he keeps making headlines for the wrong reasons and that needs to change.
If he wants to fulfill his tremendous potential, Morelos will have to control his petulance.
